The city is also home to Championship football side Wolverhampton Wanderers who play their home matches at the impressive Molineux stadium. Wolves are currently seeking a play off place as the season draws to a close, and are looking to bring top flight football back to the area next year.
The city is also a popular destination for birthday and hen parties due to the range of nightlife on offer. You can literally find any sort of music to dance the night away to in nearby bars and clubs, as well as plenty of good old fashioned pubs for a slightly quieter evening.
