Choosing your wedding car – some useful tips
When your wedding car arrives to take you to your destination, the whole day will suddenly come alive. Thoughts of your perfect wedding will no longer be a dream, and will play themselves out in reality.
It is therefore imperative that you take some time to get the vehicle which will be transporting you just right. There is a vast array of vehicles on the market for hire, some of which push the boundaries of current technological advances, whilst others are stylish in their simplicity.
You also have to consider the amount of transportation which you will need. This will vary of course, depending on your own preferences, but for traditional church weddings this involves taking the bride and her escort to the church in one vehicle, the bridesmaids and bride’s mother in another, and then whisking the bride and groom away following the service.
When viewing the vehicle, be sure that it perfectly conveys the impression which you are trying to create. Wedding cars are an intensely personal preference, but it important that you are happy with your choice and that the vehicle plays its part at the heart of your special day.
When considering which vehicle to opt for, it is imperative that you consider the amount of space available within it – particularly if you plan to wear traditional wedding dresses which can take up quite a lot of space on their own. The last thing you want is to not be able to savour the journey due to the fact that you are uncomfortable!
In terms of the colour of the vehicle, then this is entirely your choice, but one thing that you need to be aware of is that clothing which is either ivory or white in colour will not stand out as much if this is matched by the vehicle. It is generally accepted that vehicles which are darker in colour tend to highlight your attire to a greater extent, which could be important to you – especially when looking at the wedding photographs!
Finally, people do not normally travel in limos or wedding cars that often, so take your time and choose the right vehicle for you. Never feel that convention should restrain you – it is your day so may sure that it is perfect.
