The festive period arrives in Walsall
Recently we published an article which encouraged you to look a little further afield in terms of your festive celebrations and how limo hire is the perfect way to mark your event. One of the places which is currently embracing the period to the full is Walsall and there are numerous events planned here to engage not only the locals but the West Midlands vicinity in general.
This evening, Paralympics double gold medalist Eleanor Simmonds will formally switch on the town’s Christmas lights and will be joined by Britain ’s Got Talent stars Signature and boy band Journey South.
This is followed by a spectacular event to be held in Brownhills this coming Saturday where many activities are being planned to mark a truly special occasion. There will be a best dressed window competition, a Christmas trail for children and balloon modeling to name but three of the special events which will be taking place.
The borough of Walsall is really embracing the start of the festive period and the deputy leader of the local council, Adrian Andrew praised the work which has been carried out so far in order to create “some great events that will appeal to all ages and tastes”
