Weekends are not the only option
There was a time when the only real nights to go out were Friday’s and Saturday’s. This was mainly due to the fact that bars and clubs in particular only opened on these nights as the demand for nightlife during the normal working week was perceived to be relatively low.
This situation has of course changed and when you consider places like Birmingham today, you will find that the vast majority of nightlife hotspots operate on a seven day week. Some of this is of course due to the development of the Universities and also the increased importance of corporate hospitality, however more and more people are choosing to conduct their special events midweek than ever before.
In actual fact, many people now prefer to go out during the week rather than at weekends due to the fact that they value pubs, clubs and bars which are busy but not packed to the rafters which they can be later on in the week.
